Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC)
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) aims to nurture the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. The cell undertakes various initiatives to promote entrepreneurial culture within the institution and in the surrounding region. It provides students with opportunities, guidance, and necessary facilities to develop innovative ideas, products, and services that contribute to technological advancement and societal development.
The IEDC of our college functions as an active platform to promote the institutional vision of transforming young students into technological entrepreneurs and innovative leaders. The initiative addresses the growing trend of dependence on corporate job culture by encouraging students to explore entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities at an early stage of their careers. By providing mentorship, exposure to industry practices, and opportunities to develop business ideas, the cell motivates students to pursue entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
IEDC GPC Kalamassery regularly organizes various programs such as expert talks, workshops, competitions, and interactive sessions with entrepreneurs and industry professionals. These activities help students develop essential entrepreneurial skills, innovative thinking, leadership qualities, and problem-solving abilities. The cell also provides the necessary support and resources to help students transform their ideas into practical and sustainable ventures.
