Women in Development Cell aims at empowering and orienting women members of our institution to realise their potential and to help them achieve their own space in a competing world.
Main Objectives:
1. To enhance self esteem and self confidence among the women students and staff members.
2. To increase awareness of women related social issues, health, employment and gender related matters.
Activities:
1. Organise special lectures by women achievers and given students and staff to interact with them.
2. Organise awareness programmes on gender equality and health etc.
Note: Organised an Invited talk on "Gender Equality Today for aSustainable Tomorrow", theme of International Women's Day 2022, by Dr. R Sharmila, Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit on 15th March 2022.
